Even a simple scanning can save and keep your information for centuries. Our scanning equipment is designed especially for newspapers. The technology that includes a combination of inventions and "know-how" makes the scanning process fast and, therefore, so cheap. We use special laser guidance system for superior accuracy and better quality of service. IMAGE IMPROVEMENT We also improve the image of each page so that you can see not just the copy of the old page but a normal black and white page that is easy to read. Image improvement raises the contrast of the text part of every newspaper page. The letters are made sharper and the background becomes white, so that a newspaper page printed in letter format is readable. Just try and see the difference. Moreover, image improvement will make OCR easier. Whether or not you order OCR from us we provide you with high quality product. CATALOGING AND CONVERTING TO .PDF Even if the text is not searchable cataloging will simplify your search throughout your newspaper archive. After cataloging each newspaper issue in a certain year will be represented as a separate .pdf file named by the issue date. OCR How much it takes to find something specific in your paper archive? Electronic version allows finding everything with just one click! Text recognition will allow you to search in your archive by a keyword. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Unbinding/Binding We understand that most of the newspaper archives are binded in big books. If you do not want to spend much time and money on special binding services we will do it for you. Additional CD/DVD No data media can guarantee you safety of your information. That's why we suggest you have an addition copy of every CD/DVD of your archive. If you have two copies the probability of information loss is much lower.
